mini cart item not updating

when i add an item to cart, the item is normally move to my side mini cart. 

my problem is when the item is moved to the cart, it does not auto update the mini cart. you have to manually refresh the page to get it updated. what is the problem with my codes?

Looks like you already figured it out? Have no issues in Chrome, upon adding product to cart the minicart and the count update as expected.

I found a conflict between an app with my theme. I remove the app, but I can't remember which app.

@tabutle4 you have a different issue. You are not using ajax cart, so in your case when something is added to the cart the page refreshes by default. The thing is that you don't see the count is more related to your theme specifically as it might not have this functionality built into it.
