Are You a Dropshipper?

Hello fellow Shopify users! If you are using shopify and are a dropshipper I would love to talk to you! My company is building an application that integrates Shopify with live inventory from dropshipping suppliers. If you would like to be able to sync your shopify inventory with your dropshipper supplier's inventory, please comment on this post with the company (and their website) you use for dropshipping. Also if you have an example of the feed they provide you to keep you up to date on inventory, that would be helpful. I may be interested in this. We’ve dumped our old system and are starting from scratch using Shopify. My site is CoffeeGuide.com and we sell everything from roasted beans to espresso machines. As you could imagine, roasted beans need to be shipped from the source not from a warehouse. So I have dozens of vendors, will need to get their orders to them and be notified when they’ve been shipped.

Do you think your app could help me?

p.s. In my magical wishlist, when the item ships I’d like to collect the retail amount then transfer the wholesale amount to the vendor.

mochajen, it sounds like you might be looking for a little more than simply inventory management.

How do your vendors accept orders? Is it via email, or some sort of flatfile?

It may be that you want a more custom solution to solve your needs specifically.

We are actually doing something similar right now, where when an order comes in to our store, we then automatically process it and send it to our vendor for shipping, so it is possible.
