Drop shipping as a supplier of product

We are organizing the idea of allowing retailers to take orders for products and we will ship to their customers. We are looking for a way that retailers can transmit us the order with a delivery destination of their retail customer. Such that we bill the retailer every couple of weeks. Is there an app that would allow a retailer to enter the order into a shopify site for delivery to their customer and invoiceing to the retailer? Thanks for the ideas

Shopify is incredibly flexible and there are several ways that I can think of off the top of my head to make something like this work. At the very simplest level, just utilize the normal checkout flow and have your retailers provide you with their billing information but enter the customers shipping information during checkout. You can even require that a retailer has an approved account before being able placing an order with you.

If you wanted to get more fancy (depending on your needs), there are a number of other ways to allow this type of setup. Custom forms, api calls or even building a custom app to meet your specific needs.

I don't personally know of any apps that handle this, however, I've never actually taken the time to look for them so they certainly could exist.

Of course, happy to help! Having done some dropshipping myself, I've seen very similar set ups :) The plus side of heading down this path is that you can keep things simple to get started - no need to spend a bunch of time and money while you're determining if there's a need.

Essentially, just treat your retailers like a direct customer. When they place an order, you can receive notifications and when you fulfill the orders, you can notify them and provide them with tracking information, etc that they can then pass along to their customers. You may want to do some customizing of your site and/or the email notifications as they're generally geared towards B2C customers but, of course, it's up to you.

Cheers!

Hello,

Try LINKIFY APP to Import products from Amazon to shopify in 1 Click.

Dropshipping (Add to Cart Button) and Amazon Affiliate (View on Amazon Button) both options.

Also they have better additional features like Auto Price change from Amazon for Affiliates, Price convertor if product is Imported from other Amazon Websites, Markup Price and many more.

Try LINKIFY APP https://apps.shopify.com/linkify

Hi, my app Simple Purchase Orders https://apps.shopify.com/simple-po was designed exactly for this purpose.

Simple PO allows your reatilers to create suppliers for your products and store cost prices for them. They can then generate a purchase order from an order which is sent to you with the customer's address included. It easily handles orders with items from more than one supplier.

Any other questions please don't hesitate to ask.

Thanks
