I really like what Shopify offers.
I am writing from Europe, and I'd like to target the international market.
I feel like I have a great idea, but I don't have the budget to buy a lot of products before I sell some.
So, my question: when you're selling products produced by others, what do you do in practice? You order the product just ordered from you and ship it to your customer or... well, it just seems too risky to order a pile of products even before you know that your store is going well.
I would like to sell premium clothes, collected in accord with a certain style, so my store would rather serve as selling a selected collection, something that you have to go through a dozen of stores for.
You can't estimate your traffic, you can't estimate what products will go better. How do you start?
Thanks in advance for your help.
I would suggest you find dropshippers then. Drop shippers will send their product to the consumer directly without having it shipped to you then on to consumer.
I don't know the clothing market well so don't know how many drop shippers there are out there.
