Hi,this is banggood.com, an E-commerce company which offers dropship program
and ship 10,000 different kinds of products internationally.please visit our website:
The drop ship vendor will provide the images. Sometimes you can just copy images directly from their website. A couple of my drop shippers will send images in a folder to dropbox.com and I transfer the folder to my own dropbox account. Some drop shippers have a resource section on their wholesale website for accessing images. It really depends on the drop shipper. You'll need to ask.
Full disclosure: I'm an employee at Doba. I get that it can be tough to get a lot of value out of our trial in a short time window like 7 days when you're new to dropshipping.
We just launched a new free-forever plan with access to a subset of our catalog (about 40,000 products) that you can sign up for with no credit card. This might be a better way for you to try us out, with no countdown hanging over you until you get billed. We made an effort to make sure this plan has products with good margins in it, as we know that not everything in our full catalog is priced competitively by the supplier (something we're always working on).
Anyway, if you want to try it out, you can sign up for the free membership (again, it's not a trial, it's a free account for as long as you want it) here.
Thanks and best of luck with your business.
the problem i have with dopshipping on shopify is i have yet to find an app that calculates shipping charges from different vendors.we list over 6,000 items and most come from our central warehouse but we also use a manufacture as a dropshipper on the other side of the country. i have not been able to find something that calculates shipping charges from 2 different places. it will only calculate shipping based on one location. shipping in canada can vary quite a bit depending on where the product starts......any help or suggestions would be great.
Dropshipping is potentially a great way to make money online because you literally have the whole world to pick from in terms of what you sell and to whom. There are virtually no limitations, not even financial. But this can also be the biggest problem.
With so much to choose from, how do you choose what products to sell? Who's looking to buy?
As an online seller, you shouldn't try to hog the market and sell everything to everyone. For one thing, you're likely to fail simply because the logistics would be monstrous. You won't be able to focus your marketing efforts, which means that you'll probably fail to create an effective brand for yourself.
As such, you would be lost in the shuffle of thousands of online sellers.
The first thing you have to do when starting your dropshipping business is decide on a niche. If you really like shoes, you may be tempted to develop that niche solely because of your personal preference, but while shoes are a popular category that buyers search for, you also have to compete with a lot of sellers for an occasional purchase. You will have to have a wide customer base to compete in that area.
