Access To MY Own Information

January of 2025 I went LLC. I spent about 4 or five days, maybe an hr or 2 at a time looking for ways to update my EIN Number, i eventually just googled it and seen i had no options in payments to Update the EIN number. I contact shopify support because the direction on the shopify account say to do so if you don't see the options yourself.

After the first two agents where no help the 3rd time , i got ahold f a shopify support agent that created a ticket.

Id say about a week later I got a message with directions on how to update, actuary it was just a link. I click this link and it has you upload a W9 and it also wants you to upload a "Shopify Payments Update Form"

yet there is nowhere for us to get this form. When you look over the articles and posts its very obvious some do not know why ou need the form which is scary, I have NO ACCESS to updating my info and the ones that are supposed to help us are UNAWARE why we need the forms.

When you reach out to shopify support they say they have no permissions to send receive or work with forms. WHY DONT I HAVE ACCESS TO WHAT I NEED WHEN I NEED IT. 1st quarter of the year has officially began to end and I cant do any sales with the LLC till the EIN is active under shopify, this makes me want to go elsewhere. Ive been with shopify since 2022- the next shopify agent that responds better have the form ready no more tickets, its frustrating enough not having access to the things i need when i need it.
