Financing, tax rates, and accounting
Hello,
I am starting up my Shopify ecommerce site, and also want to link to Amazon. As I am based internationally and want to sell in the US I am aware that I will have a physical and economic nexus.
I am fulfilling orders by a print on demand service. This service will send products to Shopify, which I can forward to Amazon.
With regards to sales taxes, Amazon automatically file them for me. But I think the sales still appear on the shopfiy dashboards too? If I sell products to the US via Shopify, I know I need to submit the taxes myself.
But will shopify combine the taxes from Amazon and Shopify, or can it just report on sales taxes I have done from shopify store not amazon?
Can someone explain steps to do this for reporting etc?
Thanks so much in advance!
