Can anyone suggest a reliable accounting plugin compatible with the starter plan?

So its tax season and I waited a bit long. I am now looking for an accounting plug in to allow me to file business taxes for my Shopify starter plan account, but NOTHING is compatible thus far.

Is there any reliable accounting plug in compatible with the starter plan?

Or must I manually do this?

Cheers,

Inoskue

Hey there,

I'm not sure if you are at the scale of using this being financially viable - worth a look for future ref though.  This 3rd party software has been created for exactly just what you are after.

Thank you, and this software is compatible with the lowest shopify plan? ($5/month starter plan?)

Also it looks like a bookkeeping platform is needed.

This software automates which is part what I want, but I'm looking for a 2-in-1 software.

One being automated and second being the bookkeeping platform itself, that is also compatible for integration into the shopify starter plan storefront.

Is that even possible? #bootstrapping

Yup, sorry to say that this does also need you to be using Xero or Quickbooks as your accounting platform.  This software then bridges the gap where you would otherwise have to set up your own spreadsheet and manually input your data.

As mentioned above in my other comment it might not be suitable for you in an early stages business (I'm just presuming you are as you're on the basic plan).

Might be worth looking at in the future or giving it a trial anyway just to get your head round it.

Thanks]

Hey there,

As far as I'm aware it's compatible with the lowest plan. It's a free trial anyway and only takes around 15 mins to set up.  Might be worth giving it a go to see.

If you're only just starting out and have a low sales volume at present you may find that this option is not financially viable for you at present however.

Let me know how you go and I'd be curious if you find another option that works well for you.

Thanks

James
