Change in Tax Status

I have sent three message to support regarding a change in my tax status. The first message was sent in February and I was told to write again after May 1. I wrote on May 4, May 12 and June 8. I received a ticket number but no other response. Customer service is critical in running a business through a platform such as Shopify, especially when it comes to the financial aspects such as tax requirements, and my experience is that there is no customer service. I am not sure where to turn.

I'm sorry to hear that you've had a poor experience while trying to update your tax information. Due to the tax season, our Tax team is experiencing an extremely high volume of requests which they are working around the clock to review. If your ticket has been escalated to our Tax team, then we'll need to wait until they have reviewed your ticket. At the moment, there can be an extended period of time to hear back; however, you will hear back as soon as your ticket is reviewed.

Heck! I've been waiting since March for them to help me change my tax status. Almost feel like it would be easier to open a fresh new account on my end. SO AGGRAVATING.
