charging tax on a gift box which includes some items that are tax exempt (uk shop)

hi,

I sell a cheese and cider box for £34  that is  a mix of alcohol and zero tax rated cheese.  The price of the cider component is 11.97 and the price of the remaining goods is 22.03. how can I create a tax code that only charges  1.99 tax on this item? Is there a formula for calculating this? I thinkI have to  work out the % of tax on the whole product price, but where do I record this on shopify? could somone point me to a help page on this? Thanks in advance!
