Charging Taxes -Automatically or Not

Hello. I am wondering what happens if we select "All Taxes are included in my prices?" BUT we also have selected for shopify to "automatically select our taxes?" Can we have both or is one or the other?

If we select that prices are already included, will shopify still show us what the taxes should have been for our records and reporting?

Hey S.E - Alex here from the Shopify Support team. I hope I can help shed some light on this!

When you select "All taxes included in my prices", taxes will be calculated automatically, using the Shopify system. This is the formula used to calculate taxes included in the price:

• tax = (tax rate * price) / (1 + tax rate). For example: £1.00 at 20% VAT will be £0.17 (rounded).

Selecting that taxes be included in your products doesn't tell the system not to charge them, just to charge them within the product price instead of one top it it. If you didn't want charges taxed at all, the option here would be to uncheck "Charge taxes on this product" on the product page.

Hi! Thanks for answering. I dont see the part where i can UNCHECK "don't charge taxes on this product" unser products. Can you tell me how to get there?
