Are you referring to the fees associated with Shopify Payments?

If this is the case, Shopify doesn't charge taxes on Shopify Payments processing fees in Canada. Only merchants using Shopify Payments that are located in Switzerland, the EU, Australia and Singapore have taxes (VAT or GST) charged on their Shopify Payments processing fees, as explained on this FAQ page.

Hi Kimmi, I am trying to get a summary reports for the Shopify fees on credit cared payments but come up with no Tax report available. I am attaching what I get.  Why are there no documents?  Thank you.

Are you seeing this via the Settings > Payments > View payouts > Documents section? If so, this section is normally reserved for 1099-K forms, and we will only show tax-related documents to the relevant stores.

To receive a report of Shopify Payments fees however, you can instead click Export > Export payouts.

 

From there, you'll be sent a CSV file to your account owner email address that includes all Shopify Payments fees and payouts information.
