Does the month-end inventory value report include inventory from unfulfilled orders or not?

My accountant is asking me if the month-end inventory value report includes unfulfilled orders which have yet to leave the warehouse, i.e. all inventory on hand.   At the end of the month if an order is placed but not shipped, he wants that to be counted a available inventory.  Can somebody provide an exact definition of what data is included in this report?

If this feature is not included, is there an app out there that can provide this??

To answer your question, in the inventory on hand report, the displayed value will not include the quantity of committed items, which refers to the quantity of items already ordered. To clarify, the inventory on hand report will only include the quantity of inventory available for sale.
