Have a nice day,

please answer the question how can i drive to which countries can i sell? Can I somehow limit the list of countries from which it is possible to buy in our store?

And the second question - we are an e-shop from the EU, if we sell to the USA, for example or elsewhere in the world outside the EU, the goods are not subject to VAT, how can I offer a lower price without VAT to these countries? Thank you.

Hey, @Simracing-Alien

You can select (and limit) which countries you ship to when you are setting up your Shipping zones in your Shipping settings. A shipping zone contains a country (or multiple countries/states) that has a set of shipping rules that you can set up for that shipping zone. For example, you can have a shipping zone for Canada, a shipping zone for the UK, a shipping zone for the rest of Europe, and a shipping zone for the USA. Within each zone, you get to select the available shipping methods and set the cost of shipping. Essentially, if a country is not included in any one of your shipping zones, then a customer with a shipping address in that country cannot shop at your store.

As far as VAT taxes go, you can use Shopify to set up your taxes to help ensure that you charge the correct rates wherever you sell in the European Union. At the same time, VAT taxes will not be applied to orders outside of the EU. Feel free to check out our guide here on setting up EU taxes to learn more.

If there is anything else I can help you with, please let me know.
