Financing, tax rates, and accounting
Hi!
I have my dropshipping business registered in the Czech Republic, Europe. My customers are USA residence ONLY. My supplier is Chinese, but I use their USA warehouses for delivery ONLY.
I know I don't pay any sales taxes, nor should I collect them since my business and residency are not in the USA, but who does? I assume the end user - the customer, is responsible for paying the sales taxes. I hope someone can confirm this and have similar experiences, maybe a legal explanation to inform my customers correctly about their obligations. Or if I am not correct, is there someone who can explain me my responsibilities?
My tax advisor has said, that I shouldn't be bothered with the sales taxes at all, but I would like to be transparent with my customers.
Thank you,
Elsa
