To update your EIN, please reach out to Shopify Support team directly via their Help Center using this link. Once you visit that link and log in to your account, you can submit a support request with the team, and they'll be happy to continue assisting you on live chat, email, or through a callback. I've been experiencing the same currently.  No communication so far from anyone from last one month.  I had many chat sessions but all I get is that I m in the waiting list.  😞 Very bad.
