How can I cancel my billing payment and get a refund?

Hello, I would like to cancel the billing payment that was done today and along with it cancel my account. I want a refund, how to get it?

If you have a few moments once you get your billing concerns resolved to share some feedback with me on why you are closing your store, I would love to hear it. We are always looking to improve and make starting an online business easier for everyone. 

 

For assistance with your recent billing charge you will need to contact our live support for assistance. You will first want to deactivate your store (Settings > Plans > Deactivate Store). Once that is done you can reach out to our live support through our Help Center to make a refund request. 

 

To access our live support, please follow this link: Shopify Help Center. Next, you will want to follow the on screen prompts to sign in, choose your topic and issue and at the bottom of the help articles provided will be all available live support options. 

 

It's important to note that generally Shopify does not provide refunds. We are more than happy to review merchant accounts on a case by case basis though as we understand there can always be extenuating circumstances involved.

I am more than satisfied with Shopify's support.

I haven't had good support on other platforms in the past so this made me happily surprised.

I would like to cancel my subscription. I deleted my store and I want to get out of my subscription, but there is no way to get to adminstrator section without having a store.  This is terribly frustrating, it's like you all do not want to make it easy on us to get out of a subscription. You don't even have phone customer service, that I know of.

I am sorry that you have had a difficult time getting the support you need to deactivate your store. 

 

To clarify, you said you deleted your store. Are you still able to sign into the store admin at all, or are you requested to choose a plan first?

 

If you do not have the ability to sign into the admin and it asks you to choose a pricing plan then that means your store was successfully deactivated and all billing charges have been halted for that store account. Our live support team would be happy to check and make sure.

Yes. I already deleted my store and it asks me to choose a plan. I am
already with the $1 for 3 months, but I don't want that anymore. I don't
want to be charged again later for something I don't want to use.

I canceled my subscription last night and still got charged today. I have not used this. I am simply just looking to get a refund. Please help me

I understand you have closed your store and are looking for a refund of your most recent billing charges. Our community support team does not have access to merchant accounts, so this is not something we can help with directly.
