Financing, tax rates, and accounting
Hello!
At the beginning of registering my store, I didn't find my type of business (individual, LLC, corporation etc) and I choose whatever to move forward (individual). But now I don't see this line anymore. The question is
How to change the type of business after setting up the store (i need to choose corporation)? My store is ready to be lunch and I have to finish this step.
Hi there, @Sofia3101-1!
Thank you for your post, I'm happy to help.
If you need to change the business type that you selected when setting up your Shopify Payments account, you will need to contact our live support team through the Help Center. I'm unable to provide account-specific support through the Community Forums, but our live support team can get your request sorted for you. When it comes to reaching out to our live Support line, I'll provide some steps here to make it easier.
If this isn't related to Shopify Payments, and just part of what you filled out when first creating your Shopify account, there's no need to worry about changing that since it does not affect your business or account (it was more for informational purposes).
I hope this helps, and please let me know if you have any more questions!

It's a complete joke trying to change business type, never know such a debacle!
Did you solved it? Escalated ticket with them a month ago, not a single change till today. 🙂
Same here. Escalated ticket on 13th Feb haven't heard a thing from them yet. Complete joke!
I'll starting hitting all the review sites soon Google, Trustpilot etc and let everyone else know what a shower of Sh**** they are.
Honestly I have even another problem with not receiving payouts and ticket has been escalated - I already assume that I will never hear from them back and they will keep the money that are on the account haha. Now it has been a month, and no reply lol meanwhile their twitter employee posting bs tweets, what about solving peoples problems huh?
but yeah, I wouuld try to find a solution on you own, like building a new store and selecting the correct business type or swap platform to woocomerce. Especially speed in business is important and you just cant wait endlessly for some bullsht reply.
What's the point contacting support. They don't do anything been waiting two weeks now!
