How can I change the PayPal account for my subscription payments?

I current have my Shopify subscription payments taken from my personal PayPal account and I would like to have this taken from my business PayPal account. I have looked at the billing section of the page it won't let me do this.

Please assist with CLEAR directions on how to do this.

That is definitely strange that you are not able to find the option to change your PayPal email! The steps for changing the PayPal address would be as follows:

  1. Login to Shopify
  2. Settings > Billing
  3. Select Update Payment Method
  4. Remove PayPal account on file and add new account

If you are not able to do this, can you please provide a screenshot of what you see. When uploading a screenshot please edit out any sensitive account information such as your PayPal email address. If you are not able to edit the screenshot, please reach out to us via our Help Center so that we can assist you without exposing your payment details. 


Once at our Help Center, log in to your account to create a support request through live chat, email, or callback. Once you have logged in to your account, type your request in 'Ask about a topic', scroll down to 'Get Support', and then click 'Continue.'


Please also note, PayPal billing is not currently available to merchants located in the United States or India.
