How does the 'Shopify tax' service handle international duties and taxes?

So when u order online depending on the country u will have to pay duties and tax. So lets say that a customer orders something form my store and in their country duties is 5 dollars. While this then be included in the price that customers pay on my website when I am using the tax service "shopify tax" or do I have to do anything to set up tax and duties?

Ideally, when you collect tax and duty at checkout, you pay it to your shipping partner for example FedEx. Then your shipping partner takes care of the custom duties and you have nothing to worry about.

How Shopify tax service handle it? We're not sure so your best bet is to explore other options on the app store to automate the collection of duties via your shipping partners and they will take care of the custom clearance.

Your customers have nothing to worry about customs in their country, neither do they have to pay any duty upon delivery.
