Financing, tax rates, and accounting
Hi all,
Ive just received an email saying that one of my shop domains MIGHT be about to renew, even though Ive deactivated the shop long ago. I cant get back in without paying to see if my domain has been deactivated, so how do I make sure, and stop shopify charging me a lot of money for a domain I dont use or want?
There doesnt seem to be any contact I can speak to?

To share some insight, Shopify will not automatically charge a yearly domain fee on a cancelled or closed shop, even if auto-renew was checked.
To confirm that your shop was successfully deactivated, you can connect with us directly. This will allow our support team to take a closer look, as we wouldn't have access to any account information through the Community.
The connect with us, you can:
Head over to our Help Center.
Enter into the chat box Contact Support.
Log into your shop.
Select one of the available support options.
Please let me know if you have any other concerns.
