How to find a county-wise sales tax report?

I am looking for a report that will break down the sales tax by county.  When exporting the report now, all the sales tax $ is combined in one column.   We have sales tax set up correctly for Florida so that collecting per county is correct, but I can't find a report. What am I missing?

Hi there,

Have you tried Analytics->Reports->Finances->Taxes

Yes, I have seen that. For our tax reports, we have to supply the sales numbers to match the specific  tax rates.  I can reverse it to get that total, I was just hoping for a report that already had that in it.  Thank you for responding!

Hi @RockSolid,

Keanna here from the Better Reports support team. I would recommend our app Better Reports for this!

We can create a custom report showing sales by tax names in unique combinations (state and county typically). This would allow you to easily track the overall sales by each county. This can be further broken down based on taxable vs nontaxable sales. You can filter the report based on the tax state (Florida only) or look at all states in a single report. The report could also be broken down monthly or over whatever period you need for your reporting.

In addition to custom reporting capabilities, Better Reports offers more than 60 built-in reports that cover your most common reporting needs including sales, current inventory, refunds, payouts, and more. Our reports can even be scheduled to send at a set frequency to your email or Google Drive!

I encourage you to install Better Reports and start your free 14-day trial and I'll be happy to set this up for you.

Hey there, go to Reports -> Finances -> Taxes. Then you'll see a break of amounts, sales channels, tax name and rate.
