HSA Taxes in Canada - Can't Turn Off

Based on what I have read, I need to sell 30k per quarter to be required to pay taxes.

I had a single sale to Canada and some sales tax was collected. 

I am happy to either send the customer the erroneously collected tax or file.

I went to turn off Sales Tax Collection for all of Canada and I am not able to do so. Is this possible?

Hey, @204471!

If you'd like to stop collecting taxes for a region, you can delete the tax details for that country via the tax settings in the admin. 

Steps:

1. From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Taxes.
2. In the Tax regions section, beside Canada, click Set up or Edit.
3. In the Sales tax section, do either of the following:
   1. To set up a new tax registration, click Collect sales tax.
   2. To edit an existing tax registration, click the ... button next to the region you want to edit.
4. Update your regions and account numbers.
5. Click Save.

For me, this is what it looks like in my test store: 

This is where you may want to select 'Manage' (beside 'collecting') from your view, as you shared a screenshot of what you see in your admin! The Manage view should show you the same view as me for the next step.

Next, you will see your tax rates, so you can select the three dots beside those rates to view the edit/delete menu. From here, you can click Delete to remove those rates.
