i live in the Netherlands and want to drop ship within the us. i don't really understand if i need a Dutch vat number or not? the products are shipped from us or Canada and only ship within us. can somebody make this clear for me? i can't seem to find a clear answer online.

Thank you for reaching out! What part of the sign up process is asking your for a VAT number? Is it Shopify Payments?
