I need to cancel the annual plan i just created because shopify cannot assist me

I started a shopify trial and had data in the system from a previous import. I contacted shopify about deleting everything and they cannot do it. I cannot work with the orders and customer data in the store. they were not orders placed in shopify they were placed in a previous system.

You can follow these steps here to cancel your account. 

With that said though, once your import has been completed, you can delete orders and customers.
