Financing, tax rates, and accounting
Hi, @stanislovewhite .
Shopify Payments in the US requires a social security number (SSN). If you do not have one, I would encourage you to take a look at other available payment providers in the US that may not require an SSN. You simply need to search for United States on that page and the list of gateways will appear.
I did a quick search and can confirm that Stripe will allow an EIN instead of SSN. Stripe is a popular option and would certainly be worth looking into.
I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
All the best,

i don't have stripe in payment settings as u see. why?
can't understand how to integrate stripe with shopify
You'll need to contact our authenticated support to request access to Stripe. If Shopify Payments is available in your region along with Stripe, a special request will need to be made to use Stripe instead of Shopify Payments. There may be restrictions so it's best to discuss account details with our support advisors. Simply engage with the Virtual Chat Assistant on the right hand side of the screen and ask to speak with an advisor until it brings you to the support page. Select "Chat" to speak with an advisor directly.
