Financing, tax rates, and accounting
Must the rent (billing) payment account of the shopify store and the receiving account of the store sales be the same owner (enterprise)? Or can the two be unrelated?
If the receiving account of the same shopify store uses Paypal and credit card platforms (such as 2checkout, stripe), does the Paypal account and credit card have to be the same owner (enterprise)?

Hi there @freejack811!
Don here from Shopify.
Thanks for checking in with us here in the Shopify Community.
I should be able to shed some light on this situation for you as well as answering any other queries you might have.
In short, no, it would not be necessary to use the same accounts for billing to Shopify as you would use for charging your customers.
There are some requirements in place for the use of any payment gateway, but as far as it can be determined from here there would be no requirement for these accounts to match the one you have connected to Shopify for billing purposes.
In order to be completely certain, I'd advise you to reach out to the payment gateway or gateways you're considering using for your business but from my experience generally, this is not a requirement.
Are you still setting up your store to work towards launch here or are you considering changing gateway providers?
Do you know what you need to work on next for your store or business?
Let us know here any time we can be of help to you!
Regards,
Don
