Financing, tax rates, and accounting
Hello everyone, so Shopify flagged my store as high risk just a few months after launch. My payment method and payouts were then frozen in place. I was told my payout would be on hold for 3 months and advised I find a different payment processor. It's been 3 months and then some, I have closed out my store at this point and yet Shopify has refused to issue out my payment. I have been talking to support and they keep telling me the issue has been escalated and for weeks no further response. At this point the messages feel like they are automated, zero solutions and just excuses and apologies. Has anyone else experienced this?
Ps; here is the most recent ticket number; 49477064
Its been 5 days or more since I was told the ticket was escalated.
Hi @Yolanda112 !
Based on experience, payouts issues will take some time to be resolved. Though it is not ideal, the best course of action is to keep an open communication with Shopify support team and follow up your case via live chat instead of email or ticket as it may go further on the queue.
Hi there, @Yolanda112! Thanks for taking the time to reach out to the Shopify Community Forums with your payout situation here. My name is Imogen. It's good to meet you!
Thank you for outlining your situation for us! To quickly set some expectations for you, we're unable to authenticate users here in the Forums, meaning that we're unable to access any store details, account details, or ongoing support tickets that you may have with our Team. Thanks for understanding!
Waiting weeks to hear back from our Escalated Teams is out of the ordinary, so I've gone ahead and passed along the ticket number you provided to our Internal Team for their awareness. They'll be able to follow up with the Team handling the escalation and see if we can get you followed up with regarding your payout situation here. At this time, I recommend keeping an eye on your email inbox for any incoming communications from our Support Teams related to this situation. Thanks!
