Financing, tax rates, and accounting
Hi,
I am a Swiss ecommerce brand want to sell high priced products B2C to clients in EU & UK.
We ship directly from China to the B2C client and a warehouse in EU/UK is not a option atm.
I want to use Express Shipping with DAP term, but with prepaid customs & taxes.
1) Is it right, that in this case the end consumer will receive the parcel without paying anything extra taxes?
2) Is it also correct, that in this case I do not need to register for VAT in EU or UK? As I do not want to register for VAT in EU / or UK for the beginning.
3) I want to make it 100% correct and legal, so which documents the shipping agent needs to send to my about the paid taxes, that in case an audit I have all the correct documents available?
4) When making the sale in Shopify, do I need to say "Price incl. Tax"? As I will prepay the tax and customer will not pay it, right?
5) On the Invoice is only the net amount without any tax, right?
Thank you very much
