Financing, tax rates, and accounting
Anyone else bothered by how a return now is taken out of the sales total before it's even approved and issued? I use aftership and i've noticed now when someone starts a return, the refund is immediately taken out of our sales numbers even before we approve it and they send the product back. Sometimes people don't even send it back and we don't end up issuing the refund...but now our sales numbers will be distorted and not make any sense to the accountants. Shouldn't the sales be effected after the refund is made?? I really hope this is an issue Shopify is aware of - it seems a little stupid.
