Financing, tax rates, and accounting
My business is incorporated in Florida (LLC), we purchase frozen food products in FL for resale that we send to NY to be ship the end consumers in the northeast states. Do I need to charge sales taxes to my customers since this is food? Do I need to register in the NY State Tax Department? I'm already registered as a resale company in FL.

Look into Nexus in each state where you are selling. If you have nexus then you are generally expected to collect tax on retail sales. Rates vary by state. Food may fall under different requirements but again, it's determined by state. Nexus can be physical location or sales volume so look into both.
