Sales Tax License?

Hi Everyone, I'm new to Shopify and trying to get my account set up. I'm a bit confused about setting up the tax section, I've read through 'nexus' and I believe I only have nexus in my home state currently (Michigan). Since that's the case, I believe I have to register for a State Tax ID, however, someone mentioned also getting a sales tax license?

The Sales Tax License, ID, permit, and Registration are all the same. However, a Resale or Exemption Cert is a different document you might need.
