Hi,
I recently switched on the EU as a market for selling our products.
We sell some products that in the UK are zero rated for VAT, but in the EU we need to charge VAT. When an order is made from the EU, Shopify is not charging VAT on the product.
How do we set that up correctly in Shopify?
We are on the basic plan.
Thanks
Hi, @Fiona_BCD. Thank you for sharing all of that context! I'd recommend double checking that you've set up your account to accurately collect taxes In the EU. You can learn more about setting up EU taxes here. If you have already followed the steps outlined here and it's still not collecting correctly, please reach out to our support team through the Help Center here so we can take a closer look at your settings with you.
