Shopify has been taking monies since 2018 from one of my Shopify stores that never opened up.

I would like somebody from Shopify to please phone me and please explain why over all this time with the phone calls I’ve made to you, you kept on taking money out of the my account for a shop that didn’t even exist it was shut down. If you charge US dollars well that it’s gonna be about $300 owing to me and I am very very upset. I can’t phone you any more so there’s no phone support. This makes it basically impossible to get support. Yours sincerely Douglas Donald just at the store I’m very very happy about it but I’m very very upset about you taking all his money off me

I'm very sorry to hear about your negative experience, this sounds frustrating to say the least. I want to help you out and try to get some answers


I'm unable to look into accounts myself, since we can't authenticate interactions in the Community forums. I do, however, recommend getting in touch with our live Support team through the Help Center. If you have a Shopify account that you can log into, you can request a callback from our team (a Support Advisor will call you directly), or you can get in touch through live chat or email. If you don't have an account that you can log into, you can still reach out through live chat or email. I'll also write out the steps for getting in touch to make the process easier:


  1. Head over to this link: Contact Shopify Support · Shopify Help Center
  2. Log in (recommended) or Continue without logging in
  3. Use the Search Bar to look into your current issue, such as "Issue with theme" or "Request callback"
  4. Scroll down to where it says Get support and click Continue
  5. Choose one of the available support options
