Shopify isn't able to verify my clients (EU) VAT number

Hi!

I'm launching an online store for my client in Europe (Finland to be specific) and Shopify can't identify their tax number.

The app says that it checks the number against the VIES database for EU tax numbers. When I put my clients tax number directly to the VIES db, it shows me that the tax number has been registered and that everything should be fine. Any ideas on how to proceed?
