We received an email which was not from shopify saying that our domain failed to renew du to insufficient funds and we are due to pay $18,50 in case we are paying our subscription monthly and is not even due.
It's very possible that we might email you about any failure to capture payment for a domain purchase or renewal - that said, this is not one of our supported email addresses. So you're clear to ignore that one! Great catch.
If ever there was a failed payment on your account, you would also be able to confirm this by visiting Settings > Billing in your admin. If you haven't yet, it's also never a bad idea to secure your account with two-step authentication. Don't hesitate to let me know if you have any questions about setting that up!
