Suspicious email regarding our domain

Hi there,

We received an email which was not from shopify saying that our domain failed to renew du to insufficient funds and we are due to pay $18,50 in case we are paying our subscription monthly and is not even due.

The email was from mail@sendfoxmail.com.

I guess is a scam as we do not see any messages as reminder on Settings- Billings but I wanted to check if shopify sends emails like that?

It's very possible that we might email you about any failure to capture payment for a domain purchase or renewal - that said, this is not one of our supported email addresses. So you're clear to ignore that one! Great catch. 

If ever there was a failed payment on your account, you would also be able to confirm this by visiting Settings > Billing in your admin. If you haven't yet, it's also never a bad idea to secure your account with two-step authentication. Don't hesitate to let me know if you have any questions about setting that up!
