Hi, @ManiaIntl. Welcome to the Community! I'm happy to offer some clarification on this for you.

When the Charge tax on this product box is checked on your product page, it means that the applicable taxes would be added to the cost of the product at the checkout. For example if your product price is $100, and tax requirements in your region are 10%, your customer would be charged $110 for their order at the checkout.

Taxes are set up in your admin by going to ‘Settings > Taxes’. We have Help Docs here that explain how taxes work on Shopify, as well as to guide you through the set up for your particular region and requirements.

Please keep in mind that Shopify does not give tax advice, and you are responsible for paying, remitting and filing all taxes for your business. Therefore, it is highly recommended to contact a tax professional in your local jurisdiction to determine exactly what the tax requirements are for your business.

However if you need a hand with the tax settings on your store once you’ve determined what you need to collect, then we’re more than happy to walk you through that. Let me know if you have any other questions!
