UK shops tax requirements when selling to US clients

Hi all

I'm a UK VAT registered company. Many of my customers are based in the US. I'm having some difficulty finding a definitive answer as to what my tax obligations are in the US and was wondering if there were any other UK based VAT registered companies who could advise, or point me in the right direction. There's lots of information out there, but much of it is vague and sometimes contradictory so I thought I'd see if anyone else in the same boat could shed some light on the situation?
