Also, i have a NI number at 16, which is connected to HMRC so do i use my own NI number, or the over 18 year old’s one?

Hi @Aayan105,
Shopify does require merchants using the platform to be at least 18 years of age, so if you are asked to provide this information you should provide the number of a parent or an adult that is helping you with the store.

Thank you for getting in touch. To confirm, you have a one National Insurance number that you were issued when you were 16, and another issued when you turned 18? Have you been asked to provide this information by Shopify?
