Financing, tax rates, and accounting
Does everyone wait to launch store and start selling before being approved for business tax registration with their state?
What happens is you start some sample orders or open the store in general before receiving approval?
Can you start selling and just pay them the appropriate taxes later once they approve registration and it’s due?
Hi, @AMH0503.
Due to the legal nature of this query, we won't be able to provide any legal or tax advice in regards to your business operations. In saying this however, we have this blog available for informational purposes, though please consult your legal or tax advisor for more information and advice specific to your country and circumstances.
Apart from this, how are you getting on with your store?
To help get you ready for a successful launch, I'll leave some of our guides and resources for you below to take a closer look at. Remember to also market and advertise your store prior to and after launching, to help drive traffic and (hopefully) sales to your store!
