What's the best accounting/payroll software for shopify?

for a shop in the mid 6 figure revenue range and 2 employees (including the owner/myself).  is there a consensus on what's the best accounting software?  What about payroll?  thanks

Be sure to ask your accountant for software recommendations being able to interoperate with them smoothly at critical times of a year can save a lot of stress.

"Best" is incredibly subjective, without details of specific features or business needs you'll get general answers or adverts that very rarely will be what's "best" for your specific business situation.

You'll get mostly a list of payroll apps you'd find in the app store searching "payroll", or the popular quickbooks,wave etc services for accounting.

It can also help to remove shopify from the equation, and instead ask what's the standard software used in your industry amongst your industry peers or your vendors, then find if there's a app/connecter/integration to shopify;

If not then find the next closest similar software with identical feature sets that does have a shopify app/connecter/integration.

thanks... my industry is shopify, if that's an industry. I would think
that shopify is considered it's own industry by this point, like amazon FBA
is its own industry.

I switched to AccountingSuite last year and love it.  You will need the CloudCommerce integration to connect to Shopify (requires ShipStation app for $9/month).  We use Gusto for payroll, it also integrates with AccountingSuite.

To clarify, CloudCommerce is an add-on feature in AccountingSuite.

Our customers range from 100K to 10 Mil. For payroll, they use 3rd party software we integrate with.  WagePoint is our preferred payroll provider.
