Financing, tax rates, and accounting
Hi,
I'd like to know if there is a way to find the amount I've paid in fees to Shopify for the month to keep track of in my monthly accounts. I know there is a breakdown in Payouts but this isn't helpful as I'd have to manually add up all the individual transactions. Is there a more effective way to find this information?
Thanks,
Nina
Hi @ThePrincessCut,
Apologies for the delay in getting back to you. Great question!
It's possible in your Analytics > Reports to add a column to your report to see how many fees were applied to the order:
However, for a breakdown of what those fees were, you would have to check individual invoices. This is because fees for varying orders may differ because they meet different criteria and that could not be clearly represented in the sales report.
You can read more about the Finances Section of Shopify Reports to get a sense of all the other great information you can glean from your analytics!
I hope this helps

Hi Hyde,
Thank you for this. Is this a feature available for all Shopify plans? I've checked Analytics > Reports but none of the sections has a "Manage filters" or "Edit columns" option for me. The only options in what seems to be those placements is "All channels" dropdown and "Month to date" selection.
Best,
Nina
Apologies again, I should have mentioned in my initial response that these reports are available on the Shopify and Advanced Shopify plans. The complexity of reporting becomes more advanced with each plan. Beyond that, it really is a question of digging into the individual invoices for a breakdown of transaction fees. I hope this helps! -Hyde
