Financing, tax rates, and accounting
I have been in the process of setting up my shop. I have the problem that when I select Portugal, where the headquarters of my shop is also located, no taxes are being displayed, and when I try to place orders, it's also not possible to do so. For the other EU countries and the USA, everything is displayed correctly. Other EU countries show 23% taxes according to Portugal's tax rate (using Micro-business exemption now), and the USA shows 0% tax. Only in the case of Portugal, no taxes are being shown, even though I need to collect taxes (23%) here as well. Everything was working fine yesterday, but today it's not. I hope someone can help me. Thank you very much.
Update: Ordering is now possible, and the correct tax rate is displayed at checkout. This part works. What doesn't work is that for EU countries the product prices have to be shown including VAT. This works for all EU countries except Portugal. There, on the product page, I see the net price without taxes when I select Portugal.
The correct tax rate will then be calculated on the net price at checkout. However, I also have to display the gross price for Portugal on the product page, just like for the other EU countries.
Hi Elfie,
For us the tax works in Portugal and other EU countries.
We still have a problem with stocks integration. Can We ask the name of your invoicing software?
Thank you in advance
