Why is my commission rate reduced from 10% to 8%?

I Just set up my shopify account and I have question to ask

Why there’s deduction on my commission rate from 10% gift by brand to only 8% as per displayed on my Shopify earnings?

Please clarify and get back to me ~ as I don’t want to lose the remaining 2%!

Are you referring clients to use Shopify as an affiliate marketing, using Shopify Collabs to connect with influencer marketers, or something else?

I was previously under Dovetail and upon merged with shopify, my commission suddenly reduced by 2% ! What’s does that mean? Shopify is taking our 2% ?

I'd recommend that you reach out via our Help Centre so that we can take a look at this with you, to see what we can see in your account.

Our internal team did get back to me to let us know that the difference here may lie in the rate being offered by a merchant being changed by the merchant, but in order to check this out with you we would just need you to reach out for account support as outlined above.
