Why is tax not being collected on my high-value orders in Florida?

When our store (www.GoMuchFaster.com) was still in the T&E phase, I made a few different orders and everything worked out perfectly. Well we just had our first order for a high value amount and tax was not collected. I have our FL Tax ID info added in, I made sure the item was checked as a taxable product and the customer does not have any tax exemptions. I can't think of anything else to check, and I've searched around the forums but haven't come up with a solution. Any help is appreciated.
