Why isn't Shopify correctly calculating sales tax on some items?

Today, for some reason, Shopify is not collecting sales tax for random items in our store or calculating sales tax incorrectly.  This is not happening across the board just on certain random items.

I have checked our tax settings and they are set correctly and all items are set to collect the approperiate tax.  Is anyone else experiencing this issue and I would appreciate any help one can give to correct this.

Thanks for reaching out. I haven't received seen other reports of this happening, so I recommend contacting our live support team so we can investigate this further. To do so head over to the Help Center, enter the details of your issue into the live chat, and click I still need help to be transferred to a Support Advisor. From there we can take a closer look at the affected orders and products and escalate the issue if necessary!

This is actually happening to me too! I would be very interested in seeing if you had a resolution for this. Unfortunately, its happening on small business saturday!
