Why isn't Shopify POS rounding cash payments in Canada?

Why is Shopify POS not rounding the final value of a purchase paid by cash (through POS) in Canada, given Canada does not use the penny ? 
Given Shopify is a Canadian company, certainly they must know this is an issue ?!

Unbelievable that a Canadian company hasn't resolved this issue. I shouldn't have to go to a 3rd party app to fix it.

Absolutely infuriating that this is still an issue. Particularly hilarious that the robot I just had a chat with about this sent me to this post, clearly indicating what a terrible job they are doing serving their Canadian customers.

The App automatically rounds to nearest 0.05 and many other values, and also allows you to work on POS or Online store as per your choice.
