At Summer ‘22 Editions, we added new app highlights to listing pages, so merchants can spot high quality apps and make informed decisions based on attributes they find valuable for their business. These highlights show tested indicators of merchant success, including its impact to online store performance, how it works with other Shopify features, and integration with Admin.
We know it can be unclear how to attain app highlights. That’s why we’re giving developers visibility into the app highlights currently available and their quality goals so you know how to improve your app and receive recognition and increased visibility.
Starting December 1, you’ll be able to see this information within the Distribution section of the Partner Dashboard. Initial data shows that app highlights are a major factor for merchants deciding whether to explore an app – and drive installs by successfully helping high quality apps stand out from the crowd.
