We’ve discovered that Simtech Development Ltd is associated with a terminated partnership which violated Shopify’s Partner Program Agreement and Acceptable Use Policy.
We are committed to keeping Shopify a trustworthy platform where merchants can be confident in the apps they install and use, and are committed to ensuring that all app developers are abiding by the Partner Program Agreement.
Effective November 18th, 2022, Simtech Development Ltd apps will no longer be available on Shopify, and their app functionality will be disconnected from our platform.
Below is a list of Simtech Development Ltd apps being removed, as well as suggestions for alternative apps:
- Light Instant Search Plus
- ShopQL
- Yelp Widget - Reviews & Rating
- Sales Engine - Social Proof
- EU GDPR Compliance
- Custom Thank You Page
- Custom JavaScript & jQuery
- Geo Targeting - Custom Pop-Ups
- Yandex.Metrica Analytics
All Simtech Development Ltd apps will be automatically removed from stores on November 18th, 2022, but if you have any of these apps installed and would like to remove them yourself, uninstall instructions can be found below:
Uninstalling Apps
You can remove an app from your store from the Apps section of your Shopify admin:
- In your Shopify admin, go to Apps.
- Locate the app you want to uninstall, then click the garbage can:
- Click Delete.
Uninstalling Apps from Mobile
- From the Shopify app, tap Store, and then tap Apps.
- On iOS, swipe an app left to show a Remove button beside it. On an Android device, tap the ⋮ button beside the name of the app.
- Tap Remove.
- If you're sure that you want to remove the app, then tap Delete to confirm.
