Bulk Discounts App will be sunsetted on November 1, 2017

On November 1, 5pm EST, Shopify will be sunsetting the Bulk Discounts App. Shopify merchants can continue to use the app without any interruptions until then and their existing discounts will remain active within the Shopify admin.

We have worked closely with Space Squirrel, a trusted app partner, to create an alternative solution with feature parity. We recommend downloading their Bulk Discount App here to create batch discounts going forward.

Newly created codes will be organised into batches now in the discounts section of the Shopify admin, rather than single discounts on the index page making discounts much easier to organise. Space Squirrel is offering unlimited discount sets until February 1, 2018 for existing Bulk Discount app users.

We have also improved the Price Rules API to support bulk discount code creation in batches for merchants and partners that would like to build their own alternative solutions.

I added my thoughts to Stefan's thread as well. In short, I think this decision makes sense for Shopify and welcome the opportunity it creates for all partners.
